Ezgi was born in 1990, at the beautiful Mediterranean coastal city of Mersin, which has a diverse history and heritage that affected her imagination immensely. As a child who always played around the ancient ruins, she was fascinated by the artworks and mythology humans created to tell stories through their perception of life, for making their existence a little more meaningful.

Driven by questions like ‘What are we doing here?’ and inspired by the sound of the sea, she has been painting, drawing and writing since early ages with the sole motivation of expressing her colorful fantasies, as much as finding answers to her never-ending existential questions about life, death and the human psyche.

Being very fond of Expressionism, Surrealism, Symbolism, Magical Realism and Outsider Art, she creates artworks where the viewers are invited to participate to complete the story being told, through a journey into the depths of their inner world.
